" i was born under unusual circumstances..."
about 1 or 2 weeks ago, i watched "the curious case of benjamin button" at Vivo City with some friends. i've heard people raving at how good it was so i decided to recommend it to friends for us to watch.
about 2-3 hours later, my butt was sore from sitting at the the theatre for so long, i have to pee like hell, but we all came out with the same thoughts running thru our heads. "Wow!". granted it was long, but i guess that was needed to explain the 80+ years of the lead character's life.
brad pitt and cate blanchett were amazing as the lead stars, but the actress who played benjamin's adoptive mother was great! i almost cried when her character died! i heard that brad and the mom (taraji p henson) received acting nominations for this year's academy award. best of luck to them!
i'm hoping to watch the movie again, this time preferably somewhere in the middle part of the theatre! first time we watched it, we were right in front, the cinema was so packed! i think i strained my neck just to get a good view of brad... and cate too of course!
