what i want!!!

over the past few weeks, i've had this insane craving for cupcakes...the kind that i used to see back home at bonifacio high street at the fort, in a little heavenly shop called "sonia's cupcakes".

so, because i'm a crazy person, i made it my mission to find cupcakes here in singapore, because you know, when i want something, i gotta have it!

i've become so infatuated with the thought of eating these delicious little treats that i even bugged the heck out of one of my colleagues at work! (sorry, roger!) he couldn't find any, so i asked (nicely) my friends rovie and claire if they could kindly go with me in search of the elusive cupcake.

so, on 1 fine evening, after going to the karaoke the previous day (and staying there until the wee hours of the morning!),going shopping at the warehouse sale at charles and keith and swimming at claire's place...i finally persuaded my friends to go with me to marina square.

after about an hour of searching, we found cupcakes at a coffee shop (will not say the name) but it wasn't at all what i wanted. (just look at the pictures!) this was just too sweet! as in a big lump of sugar put on top of a muffin! i swear it's going to give me diabetes, i wasn't able to finish it, so i just gave it to the little kid at home, i think she likes the flower icing!
so, the search for the elusive cupcakes continue...
